Neofinder dam
I would rather burn in hell than part money to support their business until they return to offering perpetual license as well. So now there is no way that I would entertain purchasing a subscription license. I have in the past made development and marketing suggestions to them with them not bothering to even reply.Īs a long term user since 1993 when they were positively obsequious since I had purchase power on many thousands of end user licenses for many of their products, to 2003 where I was a small consultancy with two Adobe Design Suite CS6 plus other licenses to when they decided in 2015/17 that they didnt care for perpetual license users. In the past they (support and Technical Support) would be very helpful, now the attitude is very much take it or leave it. This company is the epitome of a big'un gone bad! I find their current attitude to customers to be atrocious. Gear only physically captures the image, you create it!Ĭlick to expand. You are probably right but I really dont feel that I really want to engage with Adobe. I admire the results achieved by many photographers here but it doesnt mean that I rush out to the shops to dump my Nikon (40+years) and Fuji (15years (S2Pro), 10 years of X series) to get their camera and lenses. We need to be aware that these are just tools and not be driven by dogma and emotional attachment to familiar products.

I can understand this and their personal preferences and choices.
NEOFINDER DAM SOFTWARE
Others will find that other software works better for them. The best IQ is from COP, this is in my hands and through my eyes for my images and it gets me closest to my desired output with the least effort. I am thinking after my assessments that LuminarAI is not as good as Exposure X6 but you need to remember that there are personal preferences, as well as, just IQ or interface that drive your choices. I use PhaseOne COP v21 for my image RAW conversion but the free Darktable v3.2 or Lightzone v4.2.2 both do a good job as well for no cost. I haven't tested the Slideshow part recently. If you dont pay the subscription then the LRC becomes crippled in that the Develop, Maps and ?Books?, modules are disabled. NeoFinder - Digital Asset Management Software.
NEOFINDER DAM FOR MAC
Another option for Mac users is Neofinder, which has a free trial version. Photo Mechanic was the core of my workflow even before cataloging was introduced. You can use 'crippled' LR Classic for you catalogs. I use Photo Mechanic Plus, which is a recent DAM addition to the already excellent Photo Mechanic. I use Lyn as my directory browser for fast browsing.
